Terms and conditions of sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern sales of products made on the website europetechnologie.com (the «Site»), operated under the trade name EUROPE TECHNOLOGIE. Any order placed on the Site implies the customer's full and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs.

Article 2 – Products

The essential characteristics of the products are described on the product pages of the Site. Offers are valid while stocks last. Photographs and texts illustrating the products are indicative only and are not contractually binding.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€), net of tax. In accordance with Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, VAT does not apply. Prices exclude delivery costs, which are specified before the order is confirmed. The seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are invoiced on the basis of the rates in force when the order is recorded.

Article 4 – Orders

The customer places an order online on the Site. The sale becomes final after confirmation of the order and receipt of payment. The seller reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute over payment of a previous order.

Article 5 – Payment

Purchases are paid by bank transfer or payment card. The order is only deemed effective after confirmation of payment.

Article 6 – Delivery

Products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer when ordering. Deliveries are made by Colissimo or Chronopost. The indicative delivery time is 2 to 4 business days from confirmation of the order. Delivery costs are calculated based on weight and destination and shown before the order is finally confirmed.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the customer has fourteen (14) days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason. To do so, the customer notifies their decision by an unambiguous statement (email to europetechnologie@gmail.com) or using the standard form below. Products must be returned complete and in their original condition; return costs are borne by the customer. Reimbursement is made within fourteen (14) days of notification, using the same payment method used for the order.

Article 8 – Legal guarantees

All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). The customer has two (2) years from delivery of the goods to act under the legal guarantee of conformity.

Article 9 – Liability

The seller cannot be held liable in the event of non-performance due to force majeure, disruption of postal and transport services, or misuse of the product by the customer.

Article 10 – Personal data

The data collected is necessary to process orders. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, the customer has the right to access, rectify, erase and object to their data, which they can exercise by writing to europetechnologie@gmail.com.

Article 11 – Consumer mediation

In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge for the amicable resolution of a dispute. Competent mediator: Société de la Médiation Professionnelle (SMP) – Médiateur de la consommation, Alteritae, 5 rue Salvaing, 12000 Rodez (France). Article 12 – Applicable law

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
